There are no real lyrics to this song so instead of singing, Joseph Storey selected a passage from Hemingway's Old Man and the Sea and read it out loud. All of what was read was reversed except for the line, "Lions on the beach."
The ambient crowd was a group of friends hanging out in a hot tub who were unaware of the recording.
